The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida, is advising that residents and other interested parties in the Lesser Antilles, Yucatan Peninsula, and Honduras should continue to monitor the latest forecasts regarding tropical depressions expected to form over the next few days.

This system is clearly starting to rotate, although it currently lacks a defined center. However, environmental conditions are favorable for continued development, and a tropical depression could form tonight. The system is currently about 850 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. |
Out in the Caribbean Sea, another area of showers is beginning to get more concentrated, and a tropical depression should form over the next couple days. It will likely bring a few inches of rain to portions of the Yucatan Peninsula, including the Honduras and parts of South America.

Another disturbance exists in the far eastern Atlantic. A tropical wave will emerge off the west coast of Africa Friday, and some development is possible over the weekend. |

If they develop into tropical storms, then the first would be Laura, and the second would be Marco.
