Josephine Passing Leeward Islands, Kyle Over Open Waters
Tropical Storm Josephine is passing to the northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, bringing rains there.
Josephine is the earliest the tenth cyclone formed, beating Jose of 2005.
Out over the eastern Atlantic, a tropical wave could develop this week. The NHC gives it a 20% chance through 5 days, but development could occur past that.
Tropical Storm Kyle formed Friday afternoon a couple hundred miles east of Delaware.
First, Josephine. It is 150 miles northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected there.
Josephine will become post tropical Sunday night or Monday, amid a general weakening trend.

Kyle is also a record setter. It beats Katrina of 2005, which formed August 25.
Kyle is now 700 miles southeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland. Winds are at 50 mph, and weakening should gradually occur beginning Sunday.
Kyle is expected to become post tropical tonight or tomorrow.
