Isaias To Bring Heavy Rains Up The East Coast
Tropical Storm Isaias currently has 65 mph winds, centered about 65 miles southeast of Fort Pierce, Florida. Isaias will spread gusty winds and heavy rain up the east coast through the middle of the week.
Isaias will pass just east of Florida today, offshore of Georgia tonight, and near or over South Carolina tomorrow before moving over the Mid-Atlantic Tuesday.
While gusty winds are likely along the coasts, Baltimore is given, by the NHC, a 20-30% chance of receiving tropical storm force winds (39 mph or more).
However, heavy rainfall is expected. Around 3 to 5 inches of rain is expected throughout the area between Monday and Wednesday.

Local totals of 8 inches are possible.
Storms are possible this evening and tonight. Severe storms are possible this evening, with damaging winds the primary threat.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed in a 'Marginal' category for severe storms. This means severe storms are likely in a region, but will be scattered with limited organization.
The threat is, once again, damaging winds. Flash flooding is possible as well.
High temperatures will be around 86.
Tuesday will bring high temperatures of only the upper 70s.
Most of the rain is expected from early Tuesday morning through the day.
This risk extends from the Carolinas north into Maine.
Additional showers and thunderstorms are possible in the second half of the week from a different system. Temperatures will remain in the 80s.
