Rain Ends By Afternoon, Cool
The rain ended being way more active than just about every model predicted.
These showers will taper off by noon, giving way to a cooler and kind of cloudy day. Mostly sunny, with highs around 85.
Expect clear skies and a high near 83 tomorrow.
Out in the Atlantic, the NHC is monitoring three disturbances. As mentioned recently, two are expected to become tropical depressions in the next few days.
The one on the left is an area of disorganized showers a few hundred miles west of the Lesser Antilles. While development is unlikely today and tonight due to its fast speed, it will move slower and likely develop over the weekend into a tropical depression.
On the right is a "vigorous tropical wave" which has disorganized showers. Some development 8s possible as it emerges over the far eastern Atlantic. By early next week, the NHC says, conditions will be less favorable and further development is unexpected.
In the middle is a concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms, located mainly to the west of the disturbance's center. Conditions are favorable for development, and a tropical depression should form over the next day or two.
