The Storm Prediction Center has placed this area under an Enhanced Risk of severe storms. The primary threat is damaging winds of 60 mph or greater, but hail can't be ruled out.
Above is one model prediction for this evening, while below is another. Note that the timing is 3 hours off.
While the storm threat has shifted away for tomorrow, Hurricane Laura's remnants could bring stormy conditions Shabbos.
This could bring a couple inches of rain, but is dependent on the exact track of Laura and eventually, its remnants.
High temperatures today have already reached 93 as of 3:20pm, but tomorrow will be a little better, at 87 degrees.
However, Thursday is back at 95 degrees and Friday will be around 92.
Temperatures will cool down for next week though.
