Marco Weakening, Laura Moving Along Cuba

Marco is down to 50 mph winds, as it crawls towards Louisiana.
Further weakening is expected, and Marco should become a remnant low Tuesday.
However, continued rainfall is expected which could lead to flash flooding.

Laura is moving along Cuba now, and this will continue today.
Laura should move into the Gulf tonight and weakening is expected to begin there.
Laura should become a hurricane by Tuesday evening and be near major hurricane strength when it makes landfall Wednesday evening in western Louisiana or eastern Texas.

Flash flooding is expected to be an issue, as 5 to 10 inches of rain are expected from Laura along the Gulf coast.

Several feet of storm surge are likely as well.
