New Tropical Depression Forms
A new tropical depression formed overnight, now located about 830 miles east-southeast of the Northern Leeward Islands. Winds are at 35 mph, and the depression is moving at a brisk 21 mph.
Impacts of wind and rain could affect the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and even the Bahamas and Florida. There is significant uncertainty, as there is some dry area near it, as well as questions as to whether it goes over land (weakens) or not (stronger).
