Tropical Depression 25 Forms In Caribbean
10:30am Friday: Just minutes ago, the National Hurricane Center issued a special notice for the development of Tropical Depression 25 in the Caribbean.
The cyclone should move over the southern Gulf of Mexico on Monday, and continue generally westward through the middle of the week.

Advisories will begin by 11am, and this post will be edited at that time.
Another area of showers and thunderstorms near the Leeward Islands could develop next week in the Caribbean.
11am: Twenty-five has winds of 35 mph, and should become Tropical Storm Gamma by Shabbos morning.
Gamma/25 will produce several inches of rain in the Yucatan Peninsula and Northern Central America. "This rainfall may produce life-threatening flash floods and mudslides", the NHC is advising.
