Depression Likely Forms This Weekend in Caribbean

A tropical depression is looking increasingly likely to form in the Caribbean over the weekend.

The National Hurricane Center said at 2pm that it "is producing a concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms".

"A tropical depression is likely to form this weekend or early next week as the system moves westward across the central and western Caribbean Sea."

This storm, if it becomes a tropical storm, will be named Eta and break the all-time record for most storms named in one season. The hurricane season officially ends November 30.
