Rain From Delta To Continue Tonight and Tomorrow

The remnants of Delta are bringing rain now, and that will continue tonight and tomorrow.
The center of Delta is over Tennessee, but the rains are over the Carolinas and Mid Atlantic.

Moderate rain is expected through the night.
The bulk of the rain will begin to move out mid morning.
By early afternoon, rain will taper off to a drizzle and overcast skies.
Temperatures will be around 60 for the most part.

Some drizzle is possible into Monday night, but otherwise cloudy and wet.
Rain totals of 1 to 2 inches are likely, possibly more depending on the exact location of heavy rain.

Tuesday brings a high around 72 with skies clearing by the afternoon. Winds will be 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

Delta should get absorbed on Monday by another low pressure system that will develop over the Carolinas.

--
Delta made landfall near Creole, Louisiana at about 7pm Friday, with 100 mph winds and storm surge of at least 7 feet.
--
The National Weather Service radar is back in service after 6 technicians repaired it and the 24 hour check was successful.
