Cold and Rainy Sunday, Cooler Week Ahead

Sunday will be chilly and rainy. Although there won't be a significant amount of rain, it's shaping up to be a pretty steady rain.

Rain totals of about a quarter inch are likely.

Rain will move in from southwest to northeast.

Below are computer model predictions for 6am, 8am, and 10am.
A light rain should continue in the afternoon, tapering to more of a drizzle in the evening. That drizzle will likely continue off and on through Sunday night.

Expect temperatures to be nearly steady around 45 on Sunday.

Some fog and drizzle Monday morning should dry up for perhaps some partial sunshine in the afternoon. Highs will struggle to hit the low 60s.

Tuesday brings the chance for some light showers, with a high around 60. Expect some morning fog and possibly some afternoon sunshine.

Wednesday is expected to be dry but near 60 for the high.

What is now Tropical Depression 28 could join up with a another system and bring heavy rain Thursday/Friday. There is the potential for a few inches of rain to fall.
(Above: 24hr precipitation total for 8pm Wednesday - 8pm Thursday, showing about 2 inches of rain)

High temperatures will likely be in the 50s next weekend.
