Gamma Meandering Near Mexico, Delta Forms Near Jamaica
Tropical Storm Gamma continues to meander near the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, while Delta has formed south of Jamaica.
Delta should gradually strengthen this week, and move into the Gulf of Mexico on late Tuesday or on Wednesday as a hurricane.
Gamma has 45 mph winds, and should continue to weaken. Landfall is likely along the coast, as Gamma continues to wind down.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Delta has formed just south of Jamaica.
Delta should gradually strengthen this week, and move into the Gulf of Mexico on late Tuesday or on Wednesday as a hurricane.
Delta could affect the northern Gulf coast as a hurricane late this week or this weekend. Details are still very uncertain.
There are no other disturbances in the Atlantic or Gulf.
Hurricane season officially ends November 30, so we have plenty of time remaining.
