Sally To Impact North Central Gulf Coast

Tropical Depression 19 formed near Florida late Friday afternoon, and strengthened into Tropical Storm Sally on Shabbos.

Sally is now just west of southern Florida.
Sally will strengthen into a hurricane and move over the North-central Gulf coast on Tuesday.
Sally should the move generally norheastward and weaken.

Interests there should monitor the progress of Sally.

Hurricane and Storm Surge Watches have already been issued.

Several feet of storm surge and several inches of rain, in addition to hurricane force winds, are expected and will likely cause damage and power outages.
