Snow Starting Late This Evening

Snow will begin late this evening, though it may not be as bad as first thought.

Today is 36 with increasing clouds.

Snow moves in between 7pm and 9pm.

Then we get 2 to 3 inches overnight.

Snow tapers off late Thursday morning, with a lull in the afternoon.

If we can get a shift northward in the storm, by a few miles, we could get 2 to 4 inches, maybe 6.

But right now, the most precipitation is looking to be in Central Virginia.

That means this may only bring another inch Thursday night.

So there is uncertainty about the totals. It could be only 3 or 4 inches, or maybe 7 if we get the second round.
