Updated: Winter Storm Thursday
10pm Tuesday: Although a full forecast will be issued Wednesday morning, here is a small update.
A Winter Storm Watch is now in effect from 3am Wednesday night to 6am Friday.
Snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches are likely, with a potential for 9 inches. Factoring in typical low-end realities for Baltimore storms, assume 3 to 5 inches as something more definite. But there is strong potential for 8+ inches.
Above is the European model, showing 7 to 10 inches.
This one may be overdoing it.
More details will be given tomorrow. But this is shaping up to be a moderate to major winter weather event.

Highs near 47 under partly cloudy skies, with a light breeze increasing towards evening.
Temperatures will quickly fall this evening.
Then Wednesday is only 34.
