Clear and Cool Today, Snowy Wednesday

Today will be cooler and clear, with highs reaching 40. Expect sunny skies this morning, with some more clouds this afternoon.

Precipitation is expected to move in for Wednesday by midday. It should start as snow, before mixing with sleet and possibly freezing rain in the later afternoon. 

This should change back to snow by midnight before ending by 6am Thursday. 

We have a strong likelihood of getting 4-6 inches, with 8 inches possible. 

The system will move offshore, drawing warm ocean waters inland. How far that goes and for how long has been the question.

Currently, expect slippery roads and sidewalks Wednesday into Thursday from a little ice and a few to everal inches of snow.
