Wednesday, January 19: Warmest Day of The Week
Even though it is only the 40s, that is the warmest weather you will get this week.
Highs will be near 46 with numerous clouds but some sunshine.
Rain will begin after 10pm, continuing until 6am. It will change to snow by around 7am, continuing until 11am. Temperatures will lag behind, dropping below freezing by around 8:30am. Heavier snowfall is likely, which could allow for some stickage, even on roads. Temperatures will remain below freezing through Friday, so icy patches are possible as well. Everything considered, take caution while driving Thursday, as there may be a slushy snow or ice.
Main roads and roads that are treated are more likely to remain clear, since it will be once traffic picks up during the morning commute.
On the grass, there could be 1 to 2 inches.
Check back for an update at 5pm on our weather updates page.
Thursday afternoon will be in the 20s, with a Friday of 23. Shabbos will be near 27. Impacts from snow are currently unlikely, as the storm will be centered offshore.
