Friday, January 7: Cold and Windy

The next couple days will be the coldest yet.

Temperatures will only reach 29 today, though with lots of sunshine after morning clouds burn off. Winds will be gusting to 30-35 mph, keeping real feels in the upper teens. This evening, it will be near 25 with real feels near 15. 

It will drop down to near 15 tonight, with real feels dipping to 8. It will only get to 31 on Shabbos under sunny skies. Real feels will be in the teens in the morning and in the 20s in the afternoon.

This all sets the stage for a possible freezing rain event on Sunday. Rain is likely Sunday afternoon, but with the ground being quite cold, rain would likely freeze on contact.

Monday brings a high of 35, with Tuesday near 26. It should get back to the 30s Wednesday.
