Friday, January 28: Slightly Warmer Ahead of Snow
Highs will be near 36 today before dropping below freezing this evening. While there will be a flurry and snow shower this morning, the main snow will begin around 4pm. Initial flakes might not stick, but everything will cool off after sunset. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 4pm Friday until 10am Shabbos.
Snow will taper off Shabbos morning. Expect 1 to 3 inches of snow, with a high-end of 4-5" should the heavy snow bands linger over us. There has been a recent indication early this morning it might be on the higher end, but it is of low confidence until further data comes in.

Shabbos will have a high of 25 with clearing skies. Winds will be gusting to 40 mph, keeping real feels in the single digits.
Sunday will be near 30 with plentiful sunshine. Temperatures will be increasing steadily next week, reaching the 40s on Tuesday and possibly 50 by Thursday.
