Tuesday, October 26: Windy and Chilly
As the rain system that affected us yesterday starts to pull away from our region, it will be getting windy.
A Wind Advisory is in effect from 12pm today until midnight tonight. Winds will be 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph this morning, increasing to winds of 25 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph this afternoon.
The high winds, especially when combined with saturated trees and soil, could result in downed tree limbs. Power outages may occur.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy, with a couple periods of drizzle expected in the afternoon and evening. The most steady drizzle or rain will be this evening into tonight. Any rain should end by 2am tonight.
Wednesday will have clearing, and highs of 67. Highs will be near 62 on Thursday with plenty of sunshine.
Rain will move in Thursday night, and peak in intensity on Friday. Gusty winds are likely again.
