Monday, August 23: Warming Up Today

Today starts a period of at least a few days of warmer and more humid weather. Highs will be near 90 today.

Temperatures will reach 91 Tuesday, and 93 Wednesday and Thursday.

Remember to drink plenty of water in the warm weather, especially because the last several days have been much cooler.

Henri, which brought rain to our area yesterday and last night, has now wekaned to a tropical depression. That means winds are now under 39 mph. As of 5am, sustained winds peaked at 30 mph.

Henri is nearly stalled at the Connecticut - New York border, but will move through New England today.
