Monday, August 16: Rain and Drizzle Today and Tonight
Tropical moisture will be feeding into our area over the next several days, resulting in several instances of rain.
Periods of rain and drizzle are expected today and tonight, with otherwise mostly cloudy skies. Highs near 80.
Tuesday could have a couple showers, but the focus will turn towards the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred.
As of this morning, Fred is threatening the Florida Panhandle with 60 mph winds and 4 to 8 inches of rain. The remnants of this storm will track northward through the Ohio Valley.
Depending on the exact track, heavy rainfall is possible later Wednesday and Wednesday night. Strong storms could also be a threat. The exact track isn't certain though, so stay tuned for updates.
