Slim Chances For Development In Final Days of Hurricane Season

There are slim chances, but not too bad, for development during the final days of the 2020 hurricane season.

Out over the eastern Atlantic, a subtropical cyclone could form this weekend as it meanders in the water.
Pictured is 7am Sunday, 1am Tuesday and 1pm Thursday next week.

November 30 marks the official end of the hurricane season. This year has been record setting.
Here is an excerpt from a NOAA report:
"The 2020 season got off to an early and rapid pace with a record nine named storms from May through July, and then quickly exhausted the 21-name Atlantic list when Tropical Storm Wilfred formed on September 18. For only the second time in history, the Greek alphabet was used for the remainder of the season, extending through the 9th name in the list, Iota."
