Eta Regenerates, Moving Inland Over Cuba
Eta regenerated yesterday into a tropical storm, and is now inland in Cuba.
The biggest threat with Eta is the rainfall. Cuba could receive isolated totals of 2 feet of rain.
While the center should stay off the main Florida Peninsula, Tropical Storm winds could extend well inland.
Eta is expected to turn westward below or just over the southern tip of Florida Monday and then northward over the Gulf late Monday.
The cyclone is expected to slow down and crawl through the Gulf, producing large rainfall amounts.
6 to 12 inches of rain are likely across much of Florida.
