Monday, December 19: Afternoon Clouds

Chanuka certainly will be on the cooler side, with an arctic blast expected to take hold on Shabbos.

Highs will be near 39 today with mostly sunny skies, and an increase in clouds in the afternoon. Tuesday will be near 41 and sunny.

Wednesday will be near 45 and mostly sunny. Rain is expected Thursday afternoon through Friday, with highs of 50 on Thursday and 48 on Friday. There is a possibility we get a period of snow at the end of the storm as cold air moves in, but chances are low, and accumulations are almost certainly not going to happen.

Of more concern is gusty winds up to 45 mph combined with very cold temperatures. Temperatures early Shabbos morning will be near 16, with a high of 25 on Shabbos. It will remain breezy on Shabbos as well, with wind chills of around 5 in the morning and near 10-15 in the afternoon.

Sunday will be near 27 with sunny skies.
