Monday, March 7: Record-Breaking Warmth
We have some wild weather in store for us over the next couple of days.
Highs will be near 80 today, breaking the record of 76 from 1974. Winds will be gusting to 50 mph this afternoon and evening. There will be lots of sunshine this morning into the afternoon ahead of the rain in the evening. Showers are expected between 5pm and 10pm, peaking in intensity between 6 and 7:30, when heavy rain and gusts to 60 mph are likely. There could be some downed tree limbs or power outages as a result.
Tuesday will be near 51 and a mix of sun and clouds. Precipitation is expected Wednesday. Oddly enough, a wet snow is actually increasingly likely on Wednesday. Temperatures will be above freezing, so there won't be impacts.
Thursday will be near 48 and mostly cloudy. Friday will be near 53. Rain likely will return Shabbos before cooling off for Sunday.
