Monday, March 28: Even Colder
If you thought yesterday was cold, today is even colder. It will be more like winter than late March.
Highs will be near 36 today, which if it verifies at BWI Airport, would break the record of 37 from 1996. Tonight will drop down to 20, likely just shy of the record of 18 from 1923.
A few flurries or light snow showers can be expected between 3pm and 8pm. Winds will be gusting to 35-40 mph, keeping it feeling cold.
Skies will start sunny, but clouds will increase for the afternoon.
Tuesday will be near 46 and sunny. There is a slight chance for some precipitation Wednesday morning, but it's not looking too likely, and even if did happen, ice would be very unlikely.
Thursday brings a high of 70, with showers getting underway mid-morning, with thunderstorms likely later in the day into Thursday night. Damaging winds are possible.
Friday and Shabbos will both be near 58, with mostly sunny skies.
