Today brings a storm threat, amid hot and humid weather.

Highs will be near 79 today, with a mix of sun and clouds. There will be two rounds of showers, one between 2 and 4pm, and the second between 5 and 7 pm. If the first is stronger, the second likely will be weaker. 

Storms likely will bring heavy rain and gusty winds of 40 to 60 mph. Hail is possible. 

Temperatures will drop into the 60s after the storms.

Tuesday will be near 74 and sunny. Wednesday will be near 72 and mostly sunny. A couple showers are likely Wednesday night into Thursday morning, with an additional shower or two later Thursday and Thursday night possible.
