Wednesday, February 23: Quite Mild
Today is one of the warmest yet, but it all ends this evening.
Highs will be near 69 today with mostly cloudy skies clearing for sunshine in the afternoon. Temperatures will rapidly fall this evening, and bottom out near 31 tonight.
Thursday is near 35 with mostly cloudy skies. Precipitation is expected to begin around 7-8pm Thursday evening, continuing until around noon Friday.
While temperatures will mostly be above freezing during this precipitation, a period of freezing rain and sleet is possible between 9pm and 1am Thursday night. It will be just barely 32, and with the warmth beforehand, impacts remain doubtful.
In addition, since plain rain is expected following any wintry precipitation that occurs, there wouldn't be impacts on Friday.
However, check back in case of any changes, which would mainly be focused on how cold it gets and for how long. If it can stay under freezing for longer, there could be more impact.
Friday will be near 45 with rain continuing in the morning before ending around midday. Shabbos will be near 39 and sunny. Sunday will be near 45 and sunny.
