Friday, February 18: Winds Gradually Diminishing

Very high winds this morning will taper off today but make a return on Shabbos.

A High Wind Warning is in effect until 10am. Winds will be 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. This will lessen to 20 mph with gusts to 45 mph late morning and early afternoon, and to 15 mph with gusts to 30 mph later this afternoon. 

Temperatures have dropped to 47 as of 7am and will continue dropping to near 40 by around 8-9am. It will drop slightly over the course of the day to near 37. Mostly sunny skies.

Shabbos is near 42 before dropping in the afternoon to the 30s and to 20 by 7-8pm. A snow shower is likely between 12pm and 3pm. Winds will also pick up again, with winds of 20-25 mph and gusts to 45-50 mph in the afternoon and evening.

It will be tranquil for a couple of days before rain returns. Sunday will be near 40 and sunny, with Monday near 55. Rain is likely for Tuesday, possibly continuing or picking up again Wednesday/Thursday. It will be in the 50s and 60s again during this rain.
