Friday, July 30: Drier Air Builds In
Two tornado funnel clouds were sighted in Central and Eastern Maryland, but it does not appear that they touched down. In Virginia, there was a report of hail 2.25 inches in diameter. Locally, heavy rainfall and breezy conditions were experienced.
Friday brings much drier air which means lower humidity. Highs will be near 87, with humidity levels dropping throughout the day, bottoming out around 50% by late afternoon. This in turn means real feels won't get above 90. There will also be a noticeable breeze.
Shabbos brings even cooler and drier air with highs near 81 and humidity down near 40% by the afternoon. For reference, that is 30% lower than hot days earlier this week.
Temperatures will remain in the 80s through the middle of next week.
