Monday, August 7: Thunderstorms

One of the worst severe weather outbreaks in recent times will impact our region today. 

Highs will be near 88 with skies starting cloudy followed by clearing. Very humid.

A line of thunderstorms is expected to cross the area between approximately 5:30pm and 8pm. This line will likely contain damaging winds of 60 mph + with a potential for a tornado to form nearby, especially later in the evening. 

Heavy rain is expected with these storms as well. 

Keep alert for possible severe thunderstorm or tornado warnings. A Watch means conditions are conducive for something while a warning means it is imminent or already occurring.

Tuesday will be near 83 with a mix of sun and clouds. Wednesday will be near 86 and mostly sunny.

Thursday will be near 85 with an afternoon shower possible. Friday will be near 86 and mostly sunny. Shabbos will be near 88 and mostly sunny.
