Thursday, July 21: Even Hotter

Temperatures will rise even higher today, with another rise for Shabbos and Sunday. The good news is that the humidity will be lower than it is during most heat waves.

Highs will be near 95 today, with mostly sunny skies. There will be a breeze, which will help with the heat. Real feels will still be approaching 105, and a Heat Advisory is in effect from 11am to 8pm. Try to avoid lengthy or strenuous outdoor activities.

Friday will be near 94 and sunny. Shabbos will be near 97 and sunny, with Sunday near 98. The humidity will actually fall to near or even below 40% in the afternoon these three days, which is drier than what happens in most July heat waves. It's not 100% clear yet exactly how hot it gets, but in this situation, the hotter is, the drier it will be.

Monday is comparatively cooler, with a high of 90. A late afternoon shower is possible. Tuesday will be near 88 and mostly sunny.
